Adriana Naveh
I am fascinated by urban architecture, as reflected in my work. It is tightly related to myself being an immigrant, and to my persistent search for the interior place of man in his environment.
The colorful paints in my work speak together with the coldness of the aluminum, creating an aura of an urban dynamics. It is like depicting calm chaos - a mixture of freedom and order.
Nowadays I work constantly with many galleries inside and outside Israel and I exhibit widely.
I am Adriana Naveh and I am a professional painter for about 20 years.
I was born in Mendoza, Argentina. I live in Jerusalem with my two children, and work in a private studio in Jerusalem in the neighborhood of Talpiot.
In the last few years my work is focused mainly on colorful, abstract urban landscapes, and is made in a unique technique on aluminum plates, covered by many layers of lacquer, that gives the work brightness and very modern look.
